They have not requested meds or anything for that matter yet. I have written to them, but they just send the standard message that 80% of cases will be processed within 58 months..so based on that, i have atleast 2 years to go

Habari Martha yes as far as i know you can apply from a country in which you have been resident for a year or more. I see that you have landed. I went to the embassy about two weeks ago. Confirmed that there are actually living, breathing people :)
