Hi, I applied FSW in Aug 2010, didn't receive 2nd AOR and my ecas still says "Received by Visa Office". Looks like we are in the same boat. :( My visa office is also London.

Congratulations! Does your ecas still say RBVO? And you've received med request? I only ask because I am Aug 2010 applicant London VO) and have not gone In Process, my ecas still says RBVO. Does this mean ecas is not updating to in process and I too could receive med req soon? Thanks.

Just wondering.....as I applied in Aug 2010, London VO and my status is still RBVO, could it be that the ecas just hasn't been updated? Surely they have looked at my file by now...and all others that applied in July or Aug 2010? Is it possible that these cases will get med req without ecas...

Hi, I'm from UK (London VO). We didn't receive 2nd AOR because London are not issuing them now for some reason, but this may not be the case with other visa offices.

I applied August 2010 and received PER in December. Current status on Ecas is Received by Visa Office. No med req or In Process yet. :(

Hi, London VO are not currently sending out 2nd AOR's. The next correspondence you will get is Medical Request but you may be waiting a while. I applied in August and I'm still waiting for Med Request. Never received 2nd AOR. Hope this helps. :)

Hi, My application was received in Sydney, NS on 27th Aug 2010. Got positive AOR in Dec 2010. Since then, nothing. No 2nd AOR (I believe London VO is not issuing them). My Ecas says 'Received by Visa Office', no medical request, no In Process. :( Is anyone else in the same situation as me? ie...

Hi, This is ok. They do background security checks in every country you've lived in for 6 months or more to check you've not been involved in terrorism, subversion or espionage. If you haven't then you'll be fine and then they will request your passport so don't worry. :)
