Airline won't be able to provide much info. They're just the ones to book the ticket with. I basically just read different landing stories from this forum. All was pretty much the same, but that's where I got the info from. :)

Hey girl, Doesn't sound dumb at all. Yes hubby is able to travel with a one way into Canada. When at the Canadian immigration at the airport, he'll just have to show the CoPR and his passport. They'll put him in a room for landed people and make him sign some forms to complete the process and...

Hey! Okay makes sense. Rest assured it won't take 17 months. It'll most likely take much less time, but it may take a bit longer due to the US factor. You will get through though. Just a matter of time. Actually see it as a blessing that Hubby's file is in POS and not the US or Ottawa as much...

Hey Hun, So sorry for the late response. You will have to take note of the tracking numbers. I'm assuming hubby will be sending passport on his own from Trinidad? That's correct right? So there are 2 options 1) you can create the label to send the passport and return to him using the fedex...

I totally understand girl. Feels like just the other day I was in your shoes. You're right though each case is different. Also, it also depends on who the file lands with. Can I ask a question? Why does your husband need an FBI report? Reason why I ask is because my husband just sent in a...

Patience is virtue girl! Be sure to check Hubby's email on a regular basis though.... check spam and everywhere. Hopefully there's something already there?? If not! I'm sure you'll hear something soon.

Oh I had no idea. I remember calling in and asking them and they said they don't look at PR Applicant's documents. Dunno... But that's easier than then transferring the file then sending it back to your spouse in the foreign country for documents... I think.

Hey! Hubby sent in passport on the 3rd of June (POS received it on the 8th) and they sent it back on the 15th. So I guess 12 days after it was sent (a week after it was received). Not long at all (felt like a lifetime though). I'm sure you'll get your PP back soon. By the looks of it most...

Honestly, I just stopped paying attention to that table. My status was like that (application received under PR app) until the day hubby got PPR... But I do know that Trinidad received the application because hubby had sent an email to change his home address with them and they acknowledged it...

They changed the process for sure this year. I don't think they've mastered it yet in terms of communication to the applicants and E-cas though lol Before, Canada would do all the checking in terms of documents from both ends and would let you know before file is transferred if anything is...

As far as I know, once ECAS says "medical results received" it means that the file is with the POS office.
