I had sent my documents for pre-assessment on Oct 17th and had received a confirmation the same day. but haven't received anything yet. its been almost 5 weeks. some people got it between 2-3 weeks. anybody knows why that is happening? durka

I think it would make sense to have your name on it. But, if they have questions they might contact your employer directly and ask if you work there. However, I suggest to get a letter with your name.

no, its the same as canadian permanent residency. you don't have to live in alberta. you just have to land in alberta for the immigration formalities and then you are free to move anywhere.
