So instead of sending a certified copy of the translated document, you suggest sending the translation with original attestation stamps?

I got married in Dubai, so the marriage certificate is in Arabic. I had it translated into English by a legal translator and then attested by Ministry of Justice and Foreign Affairs. Is this what you mean by having the translation notarized?
