    Got PR but confused

    As per my knowledge having job is not the criteria as PR but they might ask for proof of fund while entering as PR .So make sure you have proof of fund as per Canada immigration requirement depending on size of family.

    Taps , When you received reply from NY ? It seems they responded to your query exactly after 90 days of transfer which is also mentioned in the transfer letter from Buffalo.

    What i realized is that most of people who had FSW in process and converted to AINP has received their PPR. I never had FSW initiated and that might be one reason. Second might be background check for family.

    How long does CIC take to update mailing address change?

    I applied for name change as it was misspelled in AOR , it took around 2 weeks to be available online system . I had requested via email for correction of name.

    Change of Address with CIC

    The best way is to email/fax the changes to CIC and keep on checking the Client application status online of your application .As soon as the CIC makes an upated it will be reflected in your online status. You can access the online status once you get your AOR. Cheers!!!
