Hi Winnie, yes this is normal. It takes a while for them to update ECAS. Even though I received the Visa, the last entry in mine shows medicals received and that was only entered about a month ago despite completing the medicals from around July. All the best.

Congrats to all who have received their permanent residency and all the very best to all who are still waiting. Out of curiosity I checked to see what it would say and it is now showing medical results received even we are way past that :)

Typically if all goes well with the Medical you should get a passport request. There is not set time for it, it varies but could take from a month to 3 months it would seem assuming they don't request further medical or medical information.

Thanks Jeleni...I had the passport sent yesterday...we can only send by courier to the local office and paid to have it returned in the same country. I hope we both hear from them soon. All the best :)

That's good news Jeleni...I got the call on Monday as well...they just told me it was approved and to send in the passport but no details.

God be praise. Finally heard from them this morning via a call that it has been approved and to send in the Passports and 2 Passport Photos. I didn't know they actually call...I thought they would send an email or a mail. Will update when this has been completed.
