sorry for the delay. applied for the csq in july, there was a delay as they couldn't process payment (!), got it in Nov/early Dec. Should take 2-3 months. you can apply for it at any stage in the process.

Hooray! :D :D :D :D Got my COPR in the post today. Took a week to get from London to Montreal. "Flagpoling" (can't believe that's a verb) this weekend! Good luck to the rest of you. It's taken the full 9 months for us so stay patient.

Good to know as my pack may be coming direct to Canada or via our old address in the UK.

It's from October. If that helps (!). In other news - eager readers may remember that I was asked to supply a certificate from the Israeli police as I lived there for 10 months (this seems to be a new requirement!). This is now on its way to the Canadians so hopefully my PR will be issued soon.

I don't believe it! Way back in 1996 I spent a year in Israel. Just had an email asking me to provide evidence that I did not get a criminal record over there. More delay, more worry.
