no dear they don't verify through e.mail its not easy for bank to tell them by just replying. embassy calls to bank and they asks about the applicant's fund and bank requires the copy of bank statement through fax. when bank receives the copy of our bank statement then it proceeds further.

but i have my file number. i e.mailed to embassy they replied me and told me the file no.

i also applied for May session 2012. but i defer my admission but embassy did not ask me to do so.

no one will give you the work permit untill u complete your study in canada. you can only get off campus work permit after 6 months
