My case got transfered to NY yesterday.......I was hoping for Detroit....but nevertheless...as long as its moving, I am kewl ! Anybody else got their case transfered !!!!!

I recieved my AOR+ Medical today.........CIC received the application on 23rd Feb. I got an appointment with the doc in Michigan who in turn is an A-hole....charging $450 per person and $75 for expedite mail. I plan to report this opportunist Doc to the CIC officials...already researched on the...

Mine was sent on 19th Feb.....Hoping that my AOR will be around the corner too.....Last Friday, 4 ppl were let go from my firm.........Expecting the next wave of lay offs end of this May.... If this Canada thing works out, I will have something to fall back upon if anything goes further South.

My application reached CIC on Feb 23rd......but somehow they cashed the cheque only on March 3rd. It seems like it will be atleast 2-3 weeks before I hear anything from them ! Crossing my fingers.....Just yesterdat 2 ppl got laid off from my firm (Fortune 10)

seems like they are approving 2-3 apps per day......you can estimate your nomination accordingly.

^^^ Thanks taps, I will fax and mail my acceptance as well. Apart from that, I am trying to get my PCC issued from India itself which someone claimed that they got it in a weeks time or otherwise I will have to go to the embassy route which will take a couple of months.

The date is 16th December.

File 260 and got my nomination today.....I guess the first reported case of 2009 !!
