Just wondering is it normal to not hear from CIC regarding the application once all documents and such have been sent in? They did require us to re-send the criminal background check in November, but it has been all quiet since then.

So my wife needed to resubmit the police background check, but at the local police station, they said they aren't doing the lapsed criminal history one anymore? Something about new legislation taking effect on the 13th or so? Anyone know anything about this?

Right, visitor status, not visa. So, if we cross the border into the states, does that refresh her visitor status for another 6 months, even if we are only gone for a few hours, or does she have to fly out ( still have a return ticket to Korea) for it to refresh?
