Just to share my own experience. We applied for our son (9 years old) and submitted PR card + health card for the two pieces of identification and we got AOR.

If I remember correctly I asked a lawyer and he told me that u have to send Canadian police clearance too.( when u live more than 6 month in the country). I dunno what's the rule today. And thank you @cinderella. Wish the best for u.

I didn't send my passport only a photocopy . I'm from an visa exempt country. I sent them beginning of august around 9 or 10. But my ecas status showed "decision made" only last week (3rd September). Thank you very much to those who replied.
