I lived in trini for a few years before me and my spouse came accross. My spounse was interview (for a travellers visa) and the interview was conducted by a canadian women. They do try to trick you with the questions thay ask but she was very nice. I wish all of you luck.

Hi Max, Letter only asked us for identity docs and sponser to be present, we had previously paid our fee. To be safe I walked with everything - applicants birth certificate, id card, passport, SIN and work permit etc. Oh yes don't forget 2 photos - do not sign the back only get them stamped...

I was told that the PR card was not needed if we wanted to go to the states and come back as long as we are driving. Has anyone tried this. I am from a country that needs a Visa to enter canada - I know am a PR but waiting for my card. Please let me know Thanks

May I got approval Mar 24ish and landed and transferd to Etobicoke. Had landing in Etobicoke April 27. Perhaps you should call the call centre and inquire. I read on here someone who did not get a letter and when they called were told there landing was scheduled that week

thanks :) maybe u should try callin the call centre as I was transfered there on march 24 and was told 8 weeks but it came sooner. I heard of someone who called and found out they were scheduled and did not receive a letter. Try it and let me know how it goes. Best of luck

Landed yesterday at Etobicoke CIC. Got AIP and OWP in exactly 6 months and process complete in less then 7, now for the PR Card to come. They say 6 weeks......we will see
