Its just a mail by CIC and have a PDF stating application approved. Passport is still in transit

In my case, i got a SMS in the evening that Passport has dispatched today. After 5 hours same day, Email was dropped by CIC with an attachment saying application is approved. Passport is still in transit. I am yet to see that.

Get GIC+ Pay fees for 1 year + Parents ITR(above 5 lacs is reccomended) + Bank loan sanction letter. This much would suffice.

Here at chandigarh, people who filed on paper are getting earlier than people who have filed online. Also, i would suggest not to wait for Bank loan letter. I filed my Visa with GIC and Fees receipt only (though i had bank letter too, which i did not attach as it would have added more time for...

I applied for GIC on 21st Oct --> Got account details on 28th Oct --> Wire transferred money on 29th Oct --> Got the Investment certificate(to be included with Visa file) on 5th Nov.
