Hello, my husband lives in Iraq but he also lived in Syria for more than six months so apparently they will want a response from both these countries for security check. He has never been to Jordan.

Im due in three days. I kindly asked to have my husband with me for support. This is the second time. No one here has heard any good news since August. Can this get any worse? Are they seriously going to wait for a response on security check from Syria? Im so mad right now!!!

You know sometimes they receive it but thy dont check properly. This happened to me when they asked for the appendix A. I sent it right away. After they sent me an email saying they will be processing the file as is without the appendix A if they dont receive ot immediately. I was so frusterated...

Hi, I dont know of anyone who applied around that time but usually security check avg time is 2-5 months ( thats what i heard). Also, I think most of the time they will email, if they have his email, or in rare cases they call. Im not sure. Its different with every case. Good luck

To be honest ecas isnt reliable so dont worry this doesnt mean they havent started the processing and really it doesnt mean they have either. As soon as you are approved for the first stage you should be able to log into ecas anytime you'd like but since you are having issues call the cic call...

hey welcome to the forum. i do believe the average wait time is 3-5 months. as you said it depends on each case. yeah you were lucky to be approved for visit visa but i dont know much about it hopefully someone with more experience can help you. I hope your wait will be over soon.
