Hey everyone, I have a question! The email from Mexico requesting the police clearances literally states that we can send them by scanning and sending them in a reply to their email. But then in the attached PDF that requests them it says “originals” in bold. To me originals are definitely not...

Just heard from Mexico as well! They are giving us 15 days to submit 4 different updated police clearances - two from El Salvador and two from Nicaragua. This will be hectic since my husband doesn’t live in El Salvador anymore (but not complaining)!

From my understanding/experience it means they have just sent it and it is in transit and usually mexico notifies you when it is received/being processed. For me, it took exactly 4 weeks between transfer notice to being processed. But Ive also heard people not getting notified at all so who knows.

I have a suspicion that after they transfer there is a delay until they actually send you the notice but really they receive it sooner. Who knows with them lol
