A final determination (positive or negative) has been made regarding your application. A DM before medical request (MR) is more likely to be a negative (refusal) than the one made after.

Not yet. Unknown reasons for the delay. All I know is I'm on DM stage and waiting for PPR like many others in the forum.

Congratulations. I think your MP was about right when he said your application will be completed in about 8 weeks (that was August 1, 2014). Hopefully it will be faster. It is 6 weeks since DM and still waiting! July20

Dead quiet. I think CIC case managers are on a 6-month strike. Vacations don't last this long.

Your file will be on hold until all requested documents are received to allow them make a decision on your case. An example is my case where same documents have been requested a few times although they were submitted (they confirmed 'finding' them).

I suggest you open a gmail account. Then add it to Outlook (2010/2013), and under account settings, check: 1) sent a receipt once the email has reached recipient server; 2) send a receipt once the email has been seen; 3) send a receipt once the email has been read. The information you gave was incomplete. And Rhcohen2014 is right. Based on what you just said, your application is nearing completion as the visa is in the process of being issued. After DM and visa issuance, the ecas status will indicate Complete. Keep yourself ready for transition to Canada...

Sounds like u are not from a visa exempt country- because they asked u to send ur passport. No info on passport will be included on ecas

Good! at least you know that it was a positive determination. I haven't even bothered to send a case specific inquiry since there are so many of us waiting. I hope mine is +ve too and PPR coming soon. Thanks for letting us know the situation on the file. July2011

Wolvy: Thanks for clearing the air. As long as I'm not alone (there are so many of us waiting only that I'm the only 2011 waiting), I can wait. The medicals will be expiring soon and hope to request for an extension if i would not have received PPR by Mid October. We have two houses to worry...
