My Canadian spouse also moved away from Canada as a child and is now returning there with me and our child. He showed proof that he will be moving back when I get my permanent resident visa. He was accepted as a sponsor. No prob. You don't have to worry. :)

Thanks a LOT!!! That was very helpful! We have secured housing for the first 6 months after arrival (when I get my permanent residency) but while waiting for my Visa I thought I could as well start looking into housing options... All those areas you mentioned--do they have buses or skytrain...
