I got an update message today and when I check my application status is still the small. What does this blank update mean. Applied on 1st Aug chd vfs paper based.medicals passed in 3rd August.

Well since banglore embassy is a little lazy in giving out decisions you can expect your decsion by the end of August. Thats what the general trend seems to be with banglore. They roughly take a month to give out decisions. All the very best.

In that case KEEP CALM AND WAIT FOR YOUR VISA u ll get it soon. Expect your decision within the upcoming week.

@Jot The application number is mention in the acknowledgement message or email you received from chandigarh embassy. It confirms that ur application has been successfully transferred from vfs to embassy. For Chandigarh embassy i guess it starts with S followed by some numbers.

@ IKB To be honest I was also thinking about the same thing. But what my logic tells me is that they file eta for every candidate because if they filed eta only for the candidates they wanna give visa to, then we would have heard about this method of checking visa status long back

Well bro, since you are currently not enrolled in any educational institution you are already violating the conditions mentioned in your study permit. My best bet would be to enroll into a college as fast as possible and also notify cic about transferring to a new Designated learning...

I have also applied at Chd vfs on 1st Aug File Transfered - 2nd Aug Linked offline application to online - 2nd Aug Medical Passed - 3rd Aug No updates after that. Let me know if anyone gets any updates from Chandigarh VAC
