The various searches on the internet hasnt really helped but what documents need to be translates for a Chinese citizen? Some sources say that the translation can be done by anyone as long as the original document is accompanied with the translation? Can anyone please confirm?

That makes sense but with that in mind isn't "sufficient funds" a bit subjective? What one person may think is enough to survive on for a week or two may be different from another person. BUt thank you for all your help. Hopefully all goes well and her visa application goes off without a hitch.
