Nevertheless new rules are better than now because as per i got knowledge in new rules college would be nearly 2000 and will be easy to get offer letter but band requirement would be 6in each module

if you got offer letter than pay the fees after u will get letter of acceptance from college ,u also need to pay gic fees $10000cad,and need to do medical and then u can apply for visa if u will fullfil these requirements before feburary ur file will be considered as per previous rules..

no need for interview apply for visa as soon as possible...

i think u should go for idp office they will give u whole info.especially in chandhigarh
