I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I contacted my MP by email. Yesterday my wife check her status and got DM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so happy and fill with joy. Now we are just waiting for her to received her passport.

I have contacted my MP which he got back to me last week and contacted an CIC to look into it for me. If I don't hear anything by the end of this week. I plan on sending an email to CEM on Monday, February 1, 2016. I hope we will hear some good news soon. It is silly how long it is taking.

I agree if they were to do that, they would see a huge drop an email inquiries.

I really wished ECAS could of give more information on exactly what is pending and status update on when the last time they pick up our file. I find it ridiculous how slow they are with the April applicant.

April applicant here, they had my wife passport since July. Other than our status changing to IP on Sept 5 we heard nothing from them since. All we can do is pray and hope we all here some good news this month.

I don't like when CEM does that, only write a generic response without responding to the specific question. ojamnai please let us what CEM says to your question. It is so silly how they been holding all of our passport since July.

same here. I haven't move out yet but I feel so angry at CEM. They have been holding my wife passport since July 2015. Sept 5 status change to in process. Since then nothing. Did you guys see the new changes in processing time it increase to 26 months.

Hey AnQ, No news yet my friend. Yeah I plan order the GCMS notes again in the third week if I don't hear nothing. I'm still hopeful that it will come this month. All we can do is pray and have faith :) :) :) :) :) :)
