**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

SA received! on to the next step! ;D Is most people's ECAS showing Permanent Residence Application Status as In Process? I've looked at it so many times I can't remember if it always said that.

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Maybe it's interesting for some people. Today I realised you can look at ECAS using the sponsor or principle applicant details. I always used the principle applicant info to search but you can actually see more details if you use the sponsor. There is an additional field that shows the Sponsor...

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

My Review of Eligibility changed to Review in Progress today. I guess I should expect SA soon. Did anyone else have this change before SA? I thought this came afterwards.

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I still didn't receive any emails from CIC but today my medical status is Passed and the X was dropped from my application number. Judging from people in the past I guess I'll get the AOR soon.

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I haven't received any email from CIC but I was finally able to link my application to mycic account after some trial and error. If anyone is curious I used the family info option (without app or uci number) and I left out the passport information. I don't think I did but maybe I also put a...

    up front medical

Hi all! Has anyone completed an upfront medical for EE before being invited and had this accepted later? And has anyone used a medical from the family category for EE. I saw some people have done both last year but I've not seen anything recently. If anyone has had any success this way please...

    certified copies and translations

Hi all! I know this topic comes up quite a bit but I could find anything on my exact question: Is it necessary to have a certified true copy of a document if a translator has also stamped the copy they received? He is an ATIO translator and each translation and scanned "original" (but not the...

40th Draw - Ray of Hope

going with the same as my last guess, 482. my prediction for the next draw that is lower than 482 will be 481 and back to >=1500 invites. otherwise it will stay >481 with 750ish invites.

    38th Draw// July 13, 2016 // 482 points // 747 Invites

also made an error like that. I submitted in april at 453 or something. For some odd reason I didn't realise I could get points for one of my older jobs bringing me to 481. I resubmitted after the last "low" points draw. Sad days.

    Spousal sponsorship

I'll just go with western europe guide. I think the travel history form is the only difference (that I see anyway) which will be a pain to fill out. I guess that I've been to 20 countries in the past 10 years. blerg Oh well, thanks for the input!

    Spousal sponsorship

Ok cool. Do you you know if I should then follow the guidelines for the US or western Europe? The sentence states : Seems a bit odd to follow the european guide if it would be processed by the US visa offices. :-/

    Spousal sponsorship

wellll that's interesting. I saw some people had theirs completed within 2 months but only took that to be a few people. The CIC website still shows 15 months if you apply from the US. If 2-4 months is a real trend then that would be super.

    Spousal sponsorship

thanks for the replies! a bit of a bummer though considering the estimated time for germany is less than the US. :(

    Spousal sponsorship

does anyone know how the visa office is assigned for an outland application? I live in a country different from my nationality (american living in germany). I saw in the past you could choose your visa office but seems this isn't an option anymore (or is it?). Anyone know how they choose? i'm...

    37th Draw// June 29, 2016 // 482 points // 773 Invites

Yeah, aircanada was asking why I didn't do both. You can apply for both but you have to pay the fees for both. that plus the amount of points was the reason I only did EE.
