I’m now anxiously awaiting our oath. Heard about yet another September applicant who got his oath for May 2nd today. Strangely, his online status never went to DM, and is still at IP.

Applied in September as a family. Test on January 24th, DM the following day. Waiting anxiously.

Hi, I’ve heard of many applications being returned due to insufficient proof of English proficiency. Unless you have studied in Canada, or have an undergraduate degree from the US, you’d be well advised to do the English proficiency exam prescribed on the CIC website.its a few hundred dollars...

This forum has been great and very informative. I was checking my mail ((Canada Post) every day after I got DM. I was sure my letter of Oath would be forthcoming. I relaxed after reading the general wait times. Have been on a short holiday as well as I knew not to expect it before May/June...

So, hopefully the timelines will change if they continue at this pace
