According to my point of view, they must have some errors in their record which they want to check and correct with all your paper work and you will get your passport back with visa soon... best of luck... this is just my point of view... please ask seniors.

two of my friends applied in same noc and same time December 2010// they did their medical in jan 2012... and sent passport one of them got visa in march 2012 and another is still waiting... he never went out of india.... i don't think it depends on travel history.... what would you say guys...
