Rupeshhari, I am not sure I get you. You say I can still process my PR after leaving the US? I plan to get back to India next June. Do you mean I can transfer my application from Buffalo to New Delhi?

I think its a very relevant question. I located only two applications on trackitt whose AOR was received in January 2009 - and whose papers moved further after that (medicals etc.). However those two seemed to have had their initial application sent in August of 2008!! So actually it took...

What about dependents? If my daughter chooses to finish her studies in the US (4 years) - and my wife and I remain in Canada - will they deny her citizenship and only give it to me and my wife?

Looks like some January applications have had medicals. Did I get that wrong? Six months for medicals seems OK ish

Starting a new thread to understand this feature of the application process. I am told CAIPS notes can be purchased and one can understand the authorities assessment of ones application. Is this what it entails? If not what iS CAIPS? Will buying a CAIPS notes jeopardize the selection in any way...

A year from submission to Buffalo or to Sydney? I am assuming the one year promise applies to applications who received an AOR at Sydney, right? Or is it only after submitting to Buffalo? Thanks
