I am not a 100% sure but I think you field got approved first by a "smaller" agent and the actual officer is cheking it. I am not sure of the terms. But, on the phone, someone explain me ones our field are approved, they often go to someone else, that knows better and check quickly everything...

I called on monday and my eligibility was passed when nothing was started before (I did not even had a visa office the week before, I know it because I called) so it changed very fast ! if you had an update, that is a very good sign !

I would say that is fine. I don't have the exact answer but they have access to a lot and because it was an existing company, even if it is not anymore, they can see it. It's not up to you if they answer or no, so they cannot really reject you PR. There are thousands of applicants, I am sure...
