Lucky! I applied June 28 (with no biometrics). Still zip. I'm anticipating some insane delays, bet they have thousands of applications they suddenly need to process when they introduced the biometrics exemption.

It has been 3 weeks since I applied, guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for any sort of update.

Likely they have a large backlog of application to process that are otherwise waiting for biometrics.

Just noticed that biometrics are now exempt for in-Canada applications. My status still shows "your action is required" though. I'm guessing I'll just wait for it to be approved at this point then? Also nice that I'll be getting my $85 back.
