Hello Thanks for the info, but I am already in touch with my MP since last yr. There is a letter sent to me on June 29 most likely hearing letter. Hopefully they can make a decision on my case soon. I am tired of the CIC process.

The CIC official told me it could take upto six months but expect something in 5 to 6 weeks. I already am past 2.5 months and unfortuntely no news after the test. It looks like my case will head for hearing and further delay. Your case looks simple so you May hear something withing 3 months...

Sorry to hear about your case. Do you know the reason why they will call you for hearing, did you travel a lot?? I am also waiting for the oath ceremony even though my case is simple not much travel I don't know if I will also be called for hearing. I hope not but I am preparing for the worst.

I provided just the skype and viber chat histoy and engagement pics. Also we had proper Nikah ceremony. So it depends on the officier its better to do the ruksati then leave it on chance.

When I filled my case I told them my rusksati was planned after 8 months. after 1 year they ask me for additional pics and proof to show ruksati done. Usually the case processing start few months after the file is transferred. Better to tell them why you did ruksati only.
