Wow it's been a long time!!! 15 months now, wonder why it's taking so long to give you an appointment for the interview?

Hopefully they're working on your file, I've read some posts of people that don't get any updates at all, and suddenly the get good news!!! It would make it less stressful to wait if we got some ocassional updates knowing how our application is doing.

I got a request for an updated schedule A in Novemeber and another police clearance, but on gckey nothing has updated since medicals passed back in April. Hope we get good news soon!!!:)

Any applicants from February 2018 or before still waiting or any recent updates? I'm still waiting next week it'll be 12 months since the application was received. Being processed at Mexico VO.

It is confusing I thought the pre arrival letter meant you passed the elegibility as a couple, therefore an interview wouldn't be necessary, hope you get everything sorted out. Maybe it was a mistake either from the lawyer or VO.

Check the number of people in the application, make sure you count the sponsor also. Also check the spelling of your name, should be spelled exactly as you spelled it on your application, include capitals, might help.

I think you're right. Just has to make sure the correct info is typed in, shouldn't have any issues.

Hi, all you need to send is what we call in Mexico "copia certificada". Just your regular oficial birth certificate, doesn't need to have any special seal, jsut the regular stamp. That's what I sent and it was ok. You don't need to notarize your birth certificate but you do need to have it...
