I am an August 2017 applicant and I have been waiting 10 months so far. Maha has been waiting 14 plus months, the last we heard. I read it only gets worse over the summer as the visa officers take vacations and they have less officers processing applications.

I am glad you are sure :p- I have been waiting since February - they only sent them to me because I complained on them. I think they mailed them to me intentionally too, when they knew I ordered them through email.:p This whole thing is going to drive me mad!:eek:

They give some people a really hard time. If you read the appeals thread you can see some really petty excuses they use to turn people down. I think sometimes the visa officer makes up their mind before they even do the interview and then they just look for any reason they can use to support...

I received letter from CIC on January 23, 2018 saying they received our file. I never heard from Rabat until the middle of March when they asked for recent proofs of contact and a new background check. I don't think Rabat updates the status in ECAS or CIC account. Ours hasn't been updated...

I will keep you posted - it may just be a problem with my request - hopefully it won't happen to you. I haven't heard of anyone else requesting GCMS notes from Rabat lately other than Michelle17, so there may be other people that are getting them that we don't know about.
