    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Have you made a request of your application history under the Access to Information Act? I did and found out how they messed up my file several times. Can't do much about it, anyway, but at least I know I passed the medical and the police tests. You can request it online here for free...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

We should definitely raise our voices! And we should find an ally, maybe The Toronto Star. Canadian citizens have the human right of having a spouse of any nationality come live with them without the hassle of this process, but the government seems not to agree, they try punishing their love...

Hello there! Has anyone submitted a request to get information about your process under the Access to Information Act (ATIP)??

I can't avoid wondering what are the "other verifications for person being sponsored" at Step 2, besides medical, security and background checks. Do they check my iPhone photos, my Facebook messages and likes? Maybe they found out I don't agree with Israel bombing Palestine and with the USA...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Thanks! You're right, but 8 months is what they say... In the inland applications 2012 forum there's people waiting for DM after 1.5+ years, so why start to worry, right? ;D No, I'll take it as it comes, the ball is not on my side now. :) The best for you and your baby!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hey bros and sis!! What do you think about being the last one in the spreadsheet with no DM, just after UKzippy (that had to do some further medical tests)? Would you do something other than waiting and making plans for when you'll finally go back to your country? I'd truly prefer a NO for an...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi everyone!! I've been left behind in the timelines and I'm worried once again; March 2013 and no DM yet. :( Is it a good momento to request my 'Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP)' file? Thanks and good luck! PS.: Access to information or Privacy Act??

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

You're right "Rivers know this: there is no hurry". I think it's an excruciating mistake to be just 'Waiting". It's an unfair position to be in, for sure, but there's good and bad attitudes to face it! I've been reading and learning a lot all this time. And I'll put all that into practice soon...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Almost 6 months since I got AIP (Meds and Police checks sent beforehand), and no news. "In process" is the only information I see on my eCas. At least it won't be snowing for the next 3.5 months. :-\ Do you think, by any chance, they do surveillance on us; Big Brother, N S A style? I've been...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Me too, March 2013; AIP Jan 14th... but they lost my police certificate, then they found it, then again it wasn't there, but finally after a lot of CIC call center pain in the *ss wasted time, they supposedly found it for good. Of course no DM yet... Did you send your Permanent Residence...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Happy for all of you receiving AOR, AIP, DP, etc...! I am not feeling that lucky lately. CIC lost my police check since last year, because they assigned me two different file numbers, so the police check went the the first one, and they say the application with that number was canceled. I'm...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Hello bros and sis!! ;D Could anybody help me out with this? I paid online the Right of permanent residence fee after I got my AIP but before they asked me to do it. So now I'm not sure where to mail the receipt, is it to Vegreville or to CPC-Mississauga??? What should I write on the...

Animo Cirene!

Thanks Line!! So in your case, it could've been the medicals and/or the fees... or only cause you're Danish, haha ;)

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Ok, so depending on your nationality you have to follow different procedures for the police checks, right? I had to send my fingerprints and photocopies of identity documents to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City, and they did the rest.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Right! Although eventually the CIC will judge if the application is complete or more support documents are needed. I was forgetting about the fees! Maybe it's not only nationality.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hey guys!! ;D I propose a survey to find out who gets AIP + DM and who doesn't. Nationality could give us a big surprise! :o What do you think? Any idea on how or what else to ask?? I'll start with me: -Police and Meds sent with initial APP -NOT all fees paid up front. -Mexican. -Quebec...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Wasn't that bad for me, but i've been asked how did I answer the first questions to be determined 'elegible to apply', cause they weren't able. I think it gets a little bit complicated cause it's not case-specific; work permits, extensions, study permits, for temporary residents, for refugees...
