My BOWP application has been approved today. It takes exactly 1 month as I submitted the application on 23 March 2016. Good luck everyone!!

Congrats to all PPRs today, feel happy for all of you. But I'm still waiting, I called CIC this afternoon, and one agent told me that they are waiting for the security clearance feedback and all other items has passed, once they receive the passed security clearance, they will send me PPR ASAP...

1-888-242-2100, It really depends on the agents, most of time I was refused for my inquiries, but one reason sometimes they answered me may be because my current work permit is going to expire and my application was submitted 5 months ago. Just keep trying, good luck!

I just phoned CIC for the processing details of my application, one nice girl told me that everything is okay, including my criminal, security check, eligbility, but only the security check of my wife is still not finished yet. Anyone knows what does the CIC usually do for the security check...

Just wondering whether I have legal status just after landing but waiting for the PR card. Could I use the landing document to renew the SIN card and apply for a new job? Do I have legal status by then if my previous work permit already expires? Many thanks.

I heard somewhere it's required to provide funding proof for the BOWP application, but when I created my application, I couldn't find the item in the checking list. Did I create the wrong one? or the funding proof is actually not mandatory? Waiting online. Many thanks.
