If they have not started processing your application, it will not show anything till that time. Looking at the current timelines I guess it should show you the update by the end of this week. you can check it with the sponsors UCI number dob and last name or the applicants fees receipt number...

I am the sponsor and when I open the ECAS it shows file received and in process since 2nd July and If I open ECAS with the receipt then it shows that file is under process for Permanent residency. I guess we'll get the update soon via email. If anything changes I will update Hope for the best

I agree but maybe the slower start may get converted into a faster decision, as Mississauga office is giving decisions quickly I hope every one gets their respective decisions soon
