Hmm, interesting. Let me see if I can get someone to help on this topic... IMO, 2 years is too long, we might need to switch to CEC after working for a year :-)
I think the expedition statement will be shown in your nomination letter. So wait until you get an actual nomination :-)
@Luckychamp: Correct me if I am wrong :-)
I think 2 years is way too conservative as the CIC processing is expedited since we would get the PNP nomination... Just personal opinion, no solid data or policy backing this up
Q1: Yes, that's correct.
Q2: According to the application guide, I don't think that is a viable option. You might need to call OINP program to confirm it though.
Hey guys, I've just dropped my OINP application package to 400 University Ave. But it seems to me overly easy though as I just drop the envelop to their dropbox. :-(
@luckychump: is there any requirement for the date when the birth certificate was issued? My certificate was issued back in 2008, can I still use it for PNP app?
Yes, you can! Essentially, your situation is under the regulation 186(v) in the link, and I think you can try to refer it to your employer:

Congrads, I2...
This is a good news, as it seems that CIC started processing for Nov applicants... Hopefully, the processing time info from this link would get updated soon: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/
