Oh yeah this is completely worth it just to be able to be with my husband all the time! I just wish my work permit was in earlier as it would have offset the cost mostly :)

So overall my medical was $450, they didn't tell me that i'd have to pay for X-ray / Blood-work/Urine would be extra on top of the $330 I already had paid. I guess that's my luck for being in Northern ontario and healthcare isn't up to scratch.... hopefully everything goes smoothly though.

I managed to call up the doctor here for the medical exam to book an appointment and yeah the cost was averaging around what everyone else was saying so that made it atleast less of a shock, it's going to be $330 for me which includes the photos + x-ray / blood work and I think they said urine...

I called up CIC today as requested and they have now pushed another message through to get it ACTUALLY reviewed. Since it's friday it probs won't be reviewed until monday+ so hopefully something by then!
