I know this is not true for all cases. Based on the spreadsheet, there are already May 14th applicants who used DD and already got PER.

I got mine from BPI. My local BPI told me that it is possible to check the status of the DD but may take a week to get any update as they have to communicate with Bank of Nova Scotia which is their counterpart in Canada. Hope we all get good news very soon!!!

It seems that DDs from India are encashed sooner than those from anywhere else. Why is that? I am a May 14th applicant who used DD as well and I am starting to worry now.
