I just got to know from HR that they will be filing the petition next week only. They wanted me to update US Address in pay statement and wait for atleast one payslip to reflect US address. These people!!! I plan on coming back and going to US next week.

Not yet. My company wont refile it until i go to US it seems. So I am planning to go tomorrow and stay there until they file. I am not sure if i should stay until I get approval or can travel back as soon as petition is filed.

I went in the first week of Feb. We had to go in person with the application filled, show an explanation letter and also a copy of landing paper was asked. I am not very sure about the change in rules now. I will keep you posted on what i find.
