Why don't you contact with AINP? they will give a correct answer. BTW, what "Employment restrictions: No" means to you?

Does not matter what you do as long as your certificate said "Restriction of employment: No " You can be jobless. You can do whatever job/category you want.

I applied online on march 14 and My cic account has been updated today that my pgwp application has been approved. so i would say it's okay to apply online. make sure you write a letter of explanation and explain your situation why you applied for extension.

If i were you i would go to border for flagpooling and explain the situation that you need your work permit immediately. If they approve your PGWP then link your your paper application online and cancel your application or call cic call centre and ask them to cancel.

Border does not issues extension. They only work if it's a new work permit. I went to a border(Saskatchewan-Montana) and they said they can't issue extension and asked me to apply online so i applied online. Waiting for their final decision.

If you are inland applicant they will process in Sydney that means no file transfer(FT). File transfer(they transfer it to their home visa office) is for outland applicant. Cheers

Just india should be good. They do canadian one through RCMP. as far as i remember they mentioned in their guideline that you don't need pcc from canada. check the instruction again to be on the safe side.
