My husband had his interview and got his visa this morning as well. They asked the following: •Has he been arrested •When/how we met •When we started dating & if he’s dated anyone else in the last 10 years •Where I work •How many times we’ve seen each other since we met

We didn’t get either of those. Just the email for interview

My husband got his interview for November 21 too. I think I’m the last feb applicant to get a date, not sure if there’s any march ppl left

I’m gonna become really annoying emailing them lol. I’ve left them alone this whole time but we been in queue since August and there’s ppl with file transfers after that that have interviews... so what is the truth o_O

Yeah it’s nice to see other people get through but it’s kind of weird and frustrating that they’ve just skipped right over the February/March applicants with no explanation. I know we’re only a sample size of the larger pool of applicants, but there’s clearly a pattern happening right now. KVO...

Nope February 28 and still waiting too. I had my hopes high before thinking we’d be done this process by now. I’m preparing myself for a 2020 arrival at the rate they’re working!! Trying to be realistic now and not place any more deadlines on this :(

Wtfff But those things were already clearly known before the interview so they had their minds made up from the jump?! Sounds discriminatory to me. Definitely appeal that and maybe contact your mp too

Yup they’re slow af. We got transferred six months ago today. The case notes from August say interview required. I don’t get it though. Like if they can make the assessment that an interview is required why not just schedule it?This process makes no sense to me

The PA and the sponsor have different UCI #’s so maybe double check that. Depending on who the correspondence is addressed to it’ll have a diff uci at the top but file number will be the same

I ordered notes again mid-September... hoping there’s some update in them especially if we don’t hear from kvo by then

Yeah It’s hard being apart and the silence from kvo/ircc makes it that much worse. I wish they could give regular updates on our files or at least give accurate processing times for each visa office instead of the general meaningless 12 month timeline

I think it’s just an automatic update once you pass the 6 month mark.

Yeah it’s annoying seeing ppl who applied after you get through first, or seeing ppl get through in 2-3 months. As much as ppl say the process is fair it really isn’t.
