Yes you can personally go drop it off and pick it up. It is faster for sure! My husband does not live in the UK, he is in the EU so the best option for us was mailing it.

They hardly ever confirm things like that. They took a month to confirm us they had our additional documents or not.

I do not know of any special circumstances in the case, but I do remember FK22 saying that the interview went well. She did mention that they were asked to provide another police certificate and they had recently sent that and now waiting.

I sent FK22 a personal message and she is still waiting. I believe she is near the end though!
