Nope.. I guess they just updated background check for some.. but i feel every ones were at same state.. for others whos BGC not showing started in GCkey might get it updated just before DM.. unlike few updated when they started.. I am just hoping they realize its about time to get DM for all...

I second it... because atleast hoping they get done by 12 month.. we should be almost at end of process... so better wait for PPR than wait for Vistor visa... Such a pathatic situation for us dont know when PPR comes/cant apply vistor visa/ missing important occasions... etc

That is true if we keep sending mail on regular basis and like if you are like aug /sep applicant and asking for status.. We are all 8+ months in processing.. so sending any email with genuine concern is fine...

I meant was Visa Oficer.. i heard some times for some cases the when we send mail for inquiry, they will reach Visa officer your file was assigned... and respond back to you.. Anyways there is no gaurentee but as yours is a geniune request they can i giess...

I say you mail NDVO with your situation and what would be best option. I wish they will fwd this message to VO who is working on your file... i am sure your eligibility would be done by now.. so they can process next steps and get PPR directly.

Looks like what your MP said is exactly what my notes generated on nov 15 says.. eligibility passed in Aug 31... and till nov 15 in notes i see security or criminality not started..... Crazy how they able to do in 5-6 months for most of jan n feb applications.. for us 9 months not even key stuff...

I feel BGC getting started on GCkey used to best indicator for application getting DM and PPR.. now even BGC getting started as per GCkey also no use all waiting... Hopefully they get things faster for all of us...

GCkey i seen it was updated.. anyways i feel BGC update is not always states when exactly the BGC started.. most times they updated before DM.. I dont see DM yet.. so its all like ppl whose BGC started in oct and still waiting... So lately BGC update also dont indicate much... just we all need...

I just asked whats the update on my file as its been more than 7 months.. not sure if its coincident.. not sure that agents can update any gckey... Anyways can try mailing see what they will respond.. i mailed 2 times second time they replied...

Its general access to information which we get from visa officer notes of our application... Earlier we seen change in additional documents field after we orderd notes. Not sure it is 100% allways but observed that with many ppl...

You may be right... but the processing rate is very low compared to few months back.. i feel BGC is multiple steps.. some where there is so much backlog.. causing all delays.. hoping for best to all...

Agreed.. mine too.. my wife got passport just before 4 months of submitting my application.. no history atall..
