First of all, congratulations on getting your test invitation letter. See, things are going well now.
Regarding your question,
It is actually the second case on this forum I have seen for someone to report this kind of e-case update:
"notice to appear for verification of identity/documents"...
Don't worry, the test is gonna be so easy if you study for it. The sites you have posted in other topic are good enough to make you get a full mark.
I didn't even touch the discover Canada study guide and scored 20 out of 20. I just kept going through the free online questions and kept...
That is my office as well. When you said Toronto, I kind of expected it.
I think St. Clair does not conduct tests or oath anymore after that office was assigned by CIC as a pilot office to process fingerprint requests and RQs and send the results back to original processing offices such as...
Just to confirm this, I live around 8 minutes walking distance to Glen Erin Mississauga office, and my file was transfered to Scarborough which is 40 km away.
From the test date:
37 days for the online status to show the Oath update, and 41 days to receive the actual Oath letter in mail.
Waiting to hear your updates after the test.
Take care.
So what did you do when you went on Dec, 11 ? Did you write the test ?
If this is your own online status and you already wrote your test on Dec, 11, it could be a system glitch. Call the call center to get it fixed.
As I mentioned, I cannot really guess what the officer will decide. They won't deny your application and ask you to reapply only for this reason, as long as you qualify for citizenship. However, this might delay your Oath for a bit.
Good luck.
I really have no idea what is gonna happen here. Don't wanna give false information or hope.
All I can say is, try to be positive, wait and see what is gonna happen and good luck.
They will let you in for the test anyway. The only thing you need to show in order to enter the test room is your test invitation letter on hand and your photo ID ex "driver's license".
They won't even bother talking to you or anyone individually at this point, as the line up will be huge and...
As i mentioned above, they do have an access to everything about you on their system.
Actually, one of the people i have met here in Canada was telling us a terrible experience with the borders officer at the Pearson Airport. In my opinion the guy deserved everything the officer did to him, as...
Thanks Suin,
Yes, today it arrived in the mail. The pink letter "Notice to appear to take the Oath of citizenship" with the Permission release -Media consent form "pink in color as well", and a white letter called information sheet for candidates. All in one envelop.
Thanks Yolka,
I am actually so relieved :)
Yes my Oath is scheduled for next week January, 16.
I am sure you will hear the good news soon regarding your application.
Be positive. The letter is just a generic format notice that they have been sending to applicants recently. The point is the purpose of the letter. It seems to me that they are trying to move forward with applications.
