And saying this is honest? I mean I don't necessarily completely disagree with the sentiment that paying taxes shouldn't be the only reason someone gets a PR, but you twisted it the wrong way. If an average worker in Canada (including CEC according to your argument) is paying 20K in tax...

Agree with your points. I just wish they were a bit more communicative and transparent because a 2+ year wait for what would've been a 6 month process is pretty brutal and it's affecting a lot of people. Not as brutal as living under Taliban rule, but brutal enough that a little more...

I don't agree with how they handled this either, but come on, 2025 is a stretch and you know it. Oh, not being able to purchase a home is your concern? Don't worry, Canadians can't afford homes either :D

Chin up. I'm sure all program draws will resume. 4th quarter, next year, who knows. But FSW still exists and people are still registering in the pool. They just happened to pause draws temporarily. At least we're seeing some kind of movement with post-ITA apps. It makes sense that they'll resume...

Seeing some PPRs today...... hope they keep this up. Really hope they pick up the pace in the coming months.

Is FSW-Outland really being singled out though? As far as I know, CEC-Outland and PNP-Outland are slow as hell too right now. What about all the other economic immigration streams, like caregivers and entrepreneurs? To me it seems like outland apps in general are more or less on hold, except for...

Yeah. Even if they don't do an all programs draw right away, I'm interested to see how the next couple of draws are gonna play out. Number of (CEC) invitations has been on a downtrend since July and that can mean a few different things (or nothing at all). Good luck!

I saw a PPR for December 27 2019 AOR from Ottawa VO this morning in my chat group. These chat group posts and message screenshots are anecdotal but these are all we have. Hope it's a good sign.

Lol that 75 cutoff draw was quite something. I had no idea it was mathematically possible to have 75 crs while being eligible for express entry.

Yeah I've been noticing some movement too, like remed requests/extensions, expired COPRs getting contacted, and some PPRs. It's slow right now but I hope it picks up in the coming weeks/months.

    That's reasonable enough I guess.

I want to correct my statement about August aors getting remeds, I was mistaken. Someone from my chat group (july 2020 aor) got their remed request. As for earlier aors, several reports of remed requests and extensions can be found on other threads.

Well July and August people are getting re-medical requests or medical extensions.

Fair enough. Let's move on, it was meant to be a half joke analogy.

    FSW WORLDWIDE

Yeah sorry about the disgusting analogy I guess but there is absolutely no logic behind the claim that ircc won't process existing fsw files because they're not currently doing fsw draws.
