On the CIC website says you must apply for an OWP while under valid TRV status. Secondly, I wasn't stating that submitting a PR application qualifies me for an OWP. Thanks... Does anyone else genuinely what to help me out and explain to me how I can maintain legal TRV status while my PR...

It will likely take up to 24 hours to hear back. Over 3000 ITA's will be submitted so I'm sure they're on the way. Just need to be patient! We got this.

No, I will be withdrawn from my (Canadian) Ph.D. program as of April 31, 2017. Since you need to have eligible TRV status to apply for an OWP I was planning on applying alongside my PR application before my study permit expires on April 31, 2017. I referenced this site here...

Trying to stay relaxed...last time it took 23 hours for my status to change from "pending" to "open" after I got an e-mail saying I was in the pool...I guess I just have to dig deep and wait for my ITA! :o 8)
