Go to determine the eligibility section of the CIC website, and after you get your code, you can go to you CIC account and submit it.

I would order GCMS report. Iف will take 30 days but you will see all the details of your application. If you are not in Canada you may need to find sb in Canada or a Canadian lawyer to apply this on your behalf.

I have open WP and I applied for CEC back in 2013

I have applied on Apr 1 within Canada(I have an open WP) and no answer yet, If you have applied after Apr and got your visa please let us know.
