IOM has booked us for remedial by the end of August. Anyone who has to take a medical exam appointment from IOM Islamabad must hurry as there is a long queue.

Don't worry... In my case e-cas was not updated for ten months after medical. Sometimes it does not change, depends who is putting the information in on the other end. I did send them a letter informing them about the date of my medical and receipt from IOM.

Dear Nashe I also received a remedical request last week. Although my medical is not expired yet (due to expire on 15 August). But they have sent a remed and a request for updated police certificates. I was worried that I will be in queue for another 6-7 months.

Has anyone been through re Medical recently? Is it the same process or is it just an update on most things? Please share your experience.

I had sent a CSE to LVO and received a reply for re-meds and fresh police certificates. My medicals are still valid and will expire on 16th August 2013. I think the time frame is too short for processing, is it?

Yes. We are all very much here. My e-cas has not been updated even after my medicals in august 2012. Does yours show "In process" ? I have been stuck on that since Feburary 2012!
