Hi Prasanna, I did not checked with the embassy but i did checked this with ,multiple sources including consultant. I sent my passport along with with a Authorization letter.

I was in a similar situation. I am living In Europe but applied through NDVO. After i got my PPR request, My family traveled to to India and I sent my passport with them. They submitted the passport for Stamping and have got the Visa issued. So this may be one of the options you have.

hi, I got my Medical request on 31st Oct I had for the mediclas on 28th Oct( yes its wierd) I submitted my Police clearance on 12th Dec Medicals from Panel were submitted on 6th Jan 2015( this took time as there was a issue in Chest X-Ray) but was rules out TB. Decision Made on 3rd Feb or 4th Feb
