I think it all depends on the embassy. Hopefully Albania sends your fast so you can get the process going. It is a long and difficult process. My husband and I have been together for almost 4 years now and married for 2. Still waiting! The best of luck to you and your husband :)

Wherever your application is (for example mine was in Havana, Cuba but I think it's the same everywhere) they have 120 days to send your file back to the appeal office (Vancouver or Toronto). I appealed in January and I got my blue book in May. So took about 5 to 6 months.

I appealed January 2014... Got my Blue Book May 2014... and just got a letter saying I was selected for ADR. Waiting now for the date. Hope this helps!
