It's too bad that we do not have lots of people here who applied at the end of September 2012 just to know which dates are getting AIP's now...

NicJohn, This is so exciting!!! Thank you for the info!!! I can't believe we can actually get AIP and OWP in a month or so... I already got used to not working lol :P

I sent additional information (photos, etc.) a few months after submitting the original application. Someone here suggested that you send as much proof as you wish before AIP.

Spuh_dyna, were you or your partner out of status when you applied? I'm just trying to understand why they call people in for the interview before AIP... :-[

You can do either way, but in order to avoid any delays in the processing of your application, CIC suggests that you submit it all right away.

2-4 months... I got it after 2 months.
